Roadmap
What's done, what's being worked on, and what comes before launch. Plans, not promises.
Phase I: The Forge (complete)
Forging the Mithril. The economy program is written and tested: integration tests in a simulated Solana runtime, end-to-end runs with players who hold no SOL, and a rehearsal of the deploy. The per-wallet allowance, the realm budget, the circuit breaker, the fixed withdraw destination and exactly-once settlement are enforced onchain.
A Bridge of Coin. Every change of in-game money is recorded by the world server and settled onchain about a second later, exactly once: loot, quests, vendors, repairs, training, flights, trades, mail and the auction house, with escrow for money in transit. Reconciliation of game against chain reports zero drift.
Mithril to Wallet. Withdrawals from game to Phantom are gas-free, at a Mithril Exchange goblin, with a chat command or on the website, one every 15 minutes. Earnings above the daily allowance carry over as pending Mithril instead of being lost.
Phase II: The Browser Gate (complete)
No Download Required. The 1.12 client, rebuilt in Rust and compiled for the browser, plays end to end in Chrome, Edge and Firefox: Phantom sign-in, realm list, character creation, the world, chat, five preinstalled addons.
Smooth as Silk. A cold visit to the login screen in 7 seconds instead of 25, a disk cache so return visits download almost nothing, sound on its own thread, GPU pipelines that don't freeze the page, and a relay that keeps your moves flowing while the server talks. The numbers: The browser client.
Phase III: The Mithril Cartel (complete)
The Cartel opens for business. Trade Prince Mithrix with level boosts, flight paths with the whole map, the Cartel Courier and the rare goods; Mithril Exchange goblins in every capital and starting area.
Cartel quests. The Cartel's First Job with the Founders' purse, The Big Score heist with its race for prizes, and A Mule for the Road.
Better travel. 30% faster out of combat, a 30-minute Hearthstone and a level 20 mount. Everything on What's different.
Phase IV: A Home of Its Own (complete)
Moving out. The realm, the Mithril bridge, the browser services and this website moved to their own server on 14 October 2026, at play.wowonchain.com, in a 10-minute window: every character and ledger row intact, game and chain still in agreement.
Tested. 357 of 357 checks on the launch build, load tests with 300 bots, a security review and a launch-patch pass. See Tested.
Phase V: The Goblin Market (in progress)
Steamwheedle Auctions. The web auction house with browsing, tooltips, Sign In With Solana and the buy and list screens is built. Live trading needs the order processor in the world server, which moves items between characters, the auction house and the mail.
Mithril for SOL. Buying and selling Mithril for SOL at the Exchange goblin is built and tested, and waits to be switched on.
Phase VI: Opening the Gates (next)
Mainnet Mithril. The program's mainnet version: the supply minted once and the mint authority removed, no transfer fee, and the Cartel burn. Then a security review and fuzzing, the upgrade and admin keys behind a multisig with a time lock, the source published with a verified build, a 22-point launch check, the trading pool with its position locked, and the contract address published here. See Tokenomics.
The Public Realm. The realm opens to everyone with a Phantom wallet, and the Founders' race begins.
Ideas (not commitments)
Cartel Revive. Pay Mithril to get up where you fell, priced by level and by how often you've needed it lately. Being designed.
The Cartel Market. Rented market stalls in Elwynn Forest where players sell their own goods for Mithril, and later homes of their own. Designed, not built.
Items onchain. Rare items minted as compressed NFTs when withdrawn to a wallet, burned when vendored or destroyed. Being discussed; not approved.
The dungeon builder. A visual editor for spawns, patrols and new dungeons. Parked until everything above is done.
